DAUM NANCY VERRIER & CLAIN ET PERRIER DECORATOR-ENGRAVERS ON GLASS IN PARIS Asteraceae Tall horn-shaped vase flanked by two detached handles; the base is domed and circular. Proof in multi-layered glass; the title decoration is finely acid-etched and executed in polychrome enamels, richly enhanced with gold on a beige granite ground shaded with yellow towards the base. The rim of the base and neck are enriched with stylized floral motifs in polychrome enamel on a vermiculated background, acid-etched and rubbed with gold. The handles are modeled and hot-glued, with acid-etched and gold-rubbed decoration. The neck rim rubbed with gold. Circa 1900. Signed DAUM Nancy à la Croix de Lorraine in gold and engraved CLAIN et PERRIER 238 boulevard Saint-Germain Paris under the base. H. 28 cm
