Set of two calendering boards as follows: -One calender board Wooden, monoxyle, with smooth sole. One in the shape of a horse, the other in the shape of a lion. One decorated with foliage and dated "1796", brown background, double line border and shell at top. Lion-shaped grip in a striated reserve, decorated with a line of water leaves. Scandinavia, 19th century Dimensions: 70 x 11.3 cm Condition: pitting, worming and missing parts, addition of a small wooden element for hanging. -A calender board In carved and polychrome wood, with smooth sole. Decorated with a stylized and decorated horse. Carved and engraved decoration all over the board, with complex rosettes, hearts and zigzag friezes, with green and red highlights. Scandinavia, 19th century Dimensions: 61.2 x 15 cm Condition: pitting, worming, breakage at the base of the grip and on the board, woodworm attack on the reverse.
