DEMETER H. CHIPARUS (1886-1947) Scarf dancer, model created circa 1925 Important sculpture. Proof in bronze with medal patina; the cabochons of the necklace enhanced with polychrome enamels. Cast from an early edition dating from 1920-1930. Original marble base receiving a gilded bronze cartouche in bas-relief with a motif in declination of the sculpture. Unsigned.
