Early 20th-century French school, after Jean-Antoine HOUDON (1741-1828) Jean-Baptiste Poquelin dit Molière (1622-1673) Published by Jollet & Cie between 1906/07 and 1923 Small life-size bust in gilded bronze Signed "HOUDON" on the back Bears the founder's stamp "JOLLET & CIE / BRONZES PARIS / ANCNE MON COLIN & CIE". H. 16 cm (slight wear to patina) This bronze print is a reduction of the marble bust of Molière created by Jean-Antoine Houdon in 1773 and now housed at the Comédie Française in Paris.
