Pair of ku shaped vases in silver inlaid alloy, Japan Meiji period Pair of vases imitating the archaic Chinese ku form, consisting of a large pavilion whose interior is decorated with fish in seaweed, inlaid with silver. The top of the vase decorated with flowers in the same technique, the middle bulge inlaid with stylized motifs in the style of the Japanese coat of arms (mon). The base decorated with lotus petals nielloed with floral motifs. The handles are missing. H. 26 cm
