A pair of gilded copper alloy and cloisonné enamel piccierge - Lot 248
A pair of gilded copper alloy and cloisonné enamel piccierges composed of several reassembled elements. The bases are formed by incense burner lids decorated with relief friezes chased with lotus petals and ruyi, framing an openwork peony motif in foliage. Placed at the top of the lids, where the gripping knobs used to be, the shafts are formed by two cylinders in polychrome cloisonné enamel on a turquoise-blue background, framing a rounded gilded copper bow engraved with a frieze of ruyi heads. The handles are chased with a frieze of ruyi heads and surmounted by a spike. China, 18th century H. 18 cm (Misses and repairs)
