FRANCE early 20th century Two rectangular hinged cigarette boxes on wooden cores. They are covered with silver and leather, framed by a mother-of-pearl scene of Tahitian women framed by a gold fillet (eagle's head), inspired by the paintings of Paul Gauguin. Minerve hallmark Goldsmith: attributed to the Société d'Alliages de Métaux, which registered in 1895. Gross weight: 2153 g H. 3.5 cm - L. 16 cm - W. 12 cm (Condition of use, leather detached, silver plates to be refixed)
